Television Channels
100+ channels with CAS provision. Conditional Access System means that the user can subscribe to the desired number of channels and will be charged only for those selected channels.
VOD
VOD is an important feature of the WICE Net. One can experience true digital video on demand, with the latest box-office movies, documentary, theatrical plays or music video from the 'on-line video library' hosted on the network. Each film can be accessed by multiple users simultaneously at any time, and total viewing control is achieved over a wide choice of regularly updated films with play/pause, fast-forward, rewind and picture format functions.
Now you don't need to adjust time for the movie or wait for the cable operator or TV channel to telecast the movie of your choice or need to buy a duplicate CD/DVD from CD library or need to have any CD/DVD Player to watch such entertainment contents.
PVR
PVR or Digital Video Recorder gadget can be replaced with WICE Net solution which is a built-in feature. PVR feature helps user to record any TV programmes which cannot be watched on scheduled time but watch the same at one's own freedom. WICE Net's STB can record any such programs automatically in absence of user. Simple instruction via remote control will take care of the need of an user to record the specific TV program and can be viewed as and when required just like watching the same through VCD or a live TV channel.
Education
T Education includes academic syllabus based Course contents, interactive questions and answers covering board exams, competitive exams etc., Progress tracking, personalized advice to students ......etc. This will include a host of tools and programs like calculators, note-books, t-blackboards, interactive virtual classrooms, one-to-one student-teacher interaction and many more.
Radio
Multiple FM channels are available on the WICE box. These include AIR regional language channels, pop music channels and some high quality WorldSpace channels on a test basis. We will keep on adding other Satellite based as well as terrestrial FM channels to this list as and when we license more channels.
